Light a Candle in My Memory

Light a Candle In My Memory
The first candle we light represents our grief.
The pain of losing you is intense.
It reminds us of the depth of our love for you.

The next candle represents our courage.
To confront our sorrow,
To comfort each other,
To change our lives.

This candle we light in your memory.
For the times we laughed,
The times we cried,
The times we were angry with each other,
The silly things you did,
The caring and joy you gave us.

This candle we light for our love.
We light this candle that your light will always shine.

We light these candles with respect, remembering how much we ALL miss you and ache with sadness. In your memory, we will be kind to each other and respect each other. You have brought Heaven closer to us - we will live our lives so that we will see you again.

We cherish the special place in our hearts
that will always be reserved for you.
We thank you for the gift
your living brought to each of us.

The light from your candles will burn brightly
on our path throughout life. It is time for us
to move on.

We love you.
We remember you.
Always.

Looking into the portals of eternity

Looking into the portals of eternity teaches that the brotherhood of man is inspired by God's word; Then all prejudice of race vanishes away.
