Leigh "Bud" B. Nelson, WWII Navy Veteran, devoted husband of the late Kathleen "Kay" (nee Mulligan). Fantastic father of Thomas (Kinuyo), Kathleen, James (Nancy Ballsrud), John, Terrence, Mary Lou (Wes) Pixler and the late Patrick. Magical grandfather of Christopher (Ashley), Timothy (Angela), Tina Kooij, Laura, Conor, Megan, Peter, Alex, Colin, Jackie Schabold, Brian, Kevin, Lee and James and great-grandfather of Tennyson, Wyatt and Lucy. Dear friend of Dragana Lazic.

Funeral Information

Funeral Mass Saturday, March 6, 2010, 10:30am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Friday, March 5, 2010, from 3:00-9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago.
