Mr. Sam Mantelos

Sam Mantelos, Veteran U.S. Navy Korean War. Devoted son of the late John and Penelope Mantelos. Dear brother of Andrew Mantelos, Katherine (the late Peter J.) Janus and Antonia (the late John) Moloitis. Fond uncle of Verra (Tom) Rudolfi, John Mantelos, Peter Jr. (Kara) Janus, Monica (Dave) Grier and great uncle of many. Sam was a pilot for TWA for 35 years retiring as a Captain. Sam was a founding father of St. John The Baptist Church and a member of the Medinah Country Club.

Funeral Information

Visitation Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church 2350 E. Dempster., Des Plaines, IL 60016 for funeral service at 11:00am. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Arrangements by JOHN G. ADINAMIS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, LTD.
