Nicholas J. Corolis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, Nick lived most of his adult life in California. Devoted son of the late John & Panagiota Corolis, dearest brother of James (Mary Lee), loving uncle of Melanie Chionis (Dr. Nicholas), and Joanne Reichert. Beloved uncle of Lexi, Lisa, Blake and Kennedi. As a member of the greatest generation, he proudly served in the Army Air Corps, during World War II and Korea. Nick was a member of Old Glory Lodge AF & AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Shriners International, American Inst. Aeronautics and Astronautics, a retired Motorola employee, and founding member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Church in Cardiff, California. He was an avid golfer and gardener. Nick will be remembered for his generosity, philanthropy, and supporter of a vast number of charities. Nick will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. May his memory be eternal.
