Platon C. Deliyannis, 78 years old. Beloved husband of Virginia nee Revidi. Loving father of Constantine (Deborah) Deliyannis and Anny (Daniel) Gary. Devoted son of the late Constantine and Synodia Deliyannis. Proud grandfather of Alex. Harry, Simon and Zoe. Dear brother of the late Danae (the late Friksos) Georgakopoulou. Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Professor Deliyannis was a member of the Mathematics Faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology for over 35 years. Funeral Information
Visitation Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 1104 Waukegan Rd., Glenview. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church 1207 Riverwoods Rd. Lincolnshire, IL 60069 for funeral service at 10:00am. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
