Michael W. McHugh died suddenly , age 52. Loving husband of Ann (nee Dillon). Beloved father of Nicholas, Thomas and Dillon; dear son of Robert and Margaret (nee Kelley) McHugh; son-in-law of Coyle Dillon and Sharon Dillon; brother of David (Ann), Peter (Ellen), John (Marsha), William (Christine), Mary ( Ciaran) O'Sullivan and Nicholas (Kate) McHugh; brother-in-law of Michael (Eileen) and Thomas (Marijane ) Dillon; nephew, uncle,cousin and friend of many. Michael was an active volunteer for Palatine Youth Baseball for over 10 years. He was employed by S&C Electric for over 25 years.

Visitation Monday 3:00-9:00 PM, Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral Service Tuesday April 17, 9:30 AM from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home to St. Thomas of Villanova Church for Mass at 10:00AM. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
