Gayle Lynn Photikarmbumrung, nee Reckamp, 41, beloved wife for 17 years of Nate; loving mother of Tyler and Tommy; Devoted daughter of Thomas and Linda Reckamp and daughter-in-law of Elma and Sam Photikarmbumrung; Dear sister of Claudia (Kevin) Byrd, Colleen (Tad) Dennis, Daniel (Jennifer) Reckamp and Kevin Reckamp and sister-in-law of Nick and Neil Photikarmbumrung; Cherished granddaughter of Herbert and the late Loretta Roberts. Fond aunt and cousin of many.
A graduate from Illinois State University, Gayle earned her masters degree at National Louis University. She went on to teach at St. Catherine Laboure in Glenview and St. Stephen Protomartyr in Des Plaines. Most recently Gayle taught first, second and fourth grade at St. Hubert School for over ten years. She loved to travel throughout the world and attended school for a semester in England.
Funeral Information
Visitation Tuesday, February 2nd, 3-9 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home and Wednesday, February 3rd, 9 AM until time of Mass at 10 AM at St. Huberts Catholic Church, 705 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
