Mr. Richard A. Zborowski

November 16, 1922 - August 29, 2010

Richard A. Zborowski, age 87, of Downers Grove, IL, formerly of Brookfield. Beloved husband of the late Marie A. Zborowski (nee Sokolowski); loving father of Msgr. Richard M., Ronald (Nora), Robert (Lisa) Zborowski, Nadine (Mark) Wozniak and Nancy (Thom) De Vries; loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 2; brother of Rose Bogdan and the late Leonard Zborowski; God Father of Michael Trznadel; uncle of Walter, Jr., and John Trznadel.

Richard was Chairperson of the Mathematics Department at Riverside-Brookfield High School for 33 years where he also taught mathematics. He was also a permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese in Chicago.

Funeral Information

Visitation Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 3-9 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 1, 2010, 9:30 AM from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine to St. Theresa Catholic Church for Mass at 10 AM. Msgr. Richard M. Zborowski Officiating. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
