There is a word that totally describes my loving Thia Niki… Γλυκιά (Sweet) . From the first time I meet her as a little girl, when she immigrated from Greece, I knew she was extraordinary. Her loving hands would always pinch my checks ( a Greek thing), as she called out my name in an endearing way, Titsamou or Pegulamou. This even carried on through my adulthood!! She always made me feel so loved. I will never forget her sweet smile, a smile that would radiate the room and go straight to my heart. I will always be grateful to my Manula who brought her family from Greece to be intertwined with ours. May Thia’s memory be Eternal🌸✝️
