Pedro Rosario, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 30, 2022. Loving husband to the late Gloria Rosario. Loving father to Ricardo (the late Luz), Alfredo (Alejandra), Elvis and Abigail Rosario. Cherished grandfather of Fred, Jennifer (Joshua), Julian, Stacey, Mia and Kickie. Proud great-grandfather to Saraí. Caring brother to Dionicia (Oracio) Domingues. Pedro was born in Puerto Rico and grew-up harvesting sugar cane on a farm. This spirit of hard-work never left Pedro and he worked many years as a machine operator in Chicago to support his family. His family meant everything to him – he was the best husband, father and grandfather. Pedro had one other love besides family and that was his love of the Chicago Cubs and it was one of his most favorite memories when he watched the Cubs win in the World Series in 2016 with his family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3 from 10-Noon with a Service beginning at Noon at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
