Stanley Joseph Lersch, of Chicago, Illinois, a retired business owner, died Sunday February 3, 2019.

 

Born April 15, 1931, Stanley was a life long parishioner of Queen of All Saints and community member of Sauganash.

 

He was a 2 Sport Scholarship Athlete (basketball and baseball) at both Steinmetz High School and Northwestern University, obtaining a degree in Business.

 

Stanley was a loving husband and companion to Brenda Lersch for 44 years. He was the proud father of 4 children, 2 sons Stanley and Shawn Lersch, and 2 daughters Melissa Haag and Shanon Lersch as well as an adoring grandfather to 5 beautiful grandchildren, Dylan, Corey, Taylor, Henry, and Helen Lersch. Cherished brother of Susan Lersch-Kinsella and the late Dolores Lersch-Halloran.

 

Visitation is set for FEBRUARY 11, 2019 form 10:00-11:00 AM at SMITH-CORCORAN FUNERAL HOME, 6150 North Cicero Ave Chicago, Illinois 60646.  All are Invited to Mass following.  FUNERAL MASS is FEBRUARY 11, 2019 at 11:30 AM at QUEEN OF ALL SAINTS BASILICA, 6280 North Sauganash Ave Chicago, Illinois 60646 with Reverend Monsignor Wayne F. Prist presiding.

Stanley’s entombment will be FEBRUARY 16, 2019 at BROWNS CHAPEL CEMETERY in Broseley, Missouri

 

Colorful-Comfortable dress is encouraged.
