Suzanne E. Yousfi, nee Evans, age 74, loving mother of Edward (Alpna). Loving grandmother of Sohan and Arav and her late furry canine companion Stellabella. Beloved sister in law of the late Sima (Joseph) Khoshabe. She leaves behind many cousins, former students and countless friends.

Suzanne was born and raised on the north side of Chicago and remained forever loyal to her roots. She was full of life and devoted herself to the care of others. She spent nearly 35 years working in the Chicago Public Schools in various capacities and touched the lives of many students and fellow colleagues. Upon retirement she continued to devote herself and her time volunteering in multiple organizations including Toys for Tots and the St. Cyprian food pantry. Whether you met Suzanne once or knew her for a lifetime, you would know how she lit up a room and left an impact on your heart. She will be both sadly missed and joyously remembered by all.

Visitation Tuesday from 3-7pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at St. Philip Lutheran Church, 2500 W. Bryn Mawr, Chicago for funeral service at 10am. Interment private.
